An exceptional Black Mulberry tree, Morus nigra 'Wellington' produces fruit from a much younger age than many other varieties. The substantial crops of medium sized, oval red-black mulberries have a good flavour. They can be picked when ripe in late summer and are ideal for making conserves and wine.

Morus nigra 'Wellington' has good ornamental properties, with attractive glossy light-green leaves that often turn yellow in autumn.
