Malus 'Roberts Red' Tree
Malus 'Robert's Red' is an exceptional Crab Apple tree with pink flowers and large crab apples. Unusually for crab apples, the fruits are suitable for juicing and make a wonderful coloured liquid. Thought to have originally been used for cider production, this is now a popular ornamental Crab Apple tree. An abundance of dark pink flowers sit against bronzed new foliage in spring, followed by dark green foliage with hints of purple.
A versatile tree, is also welcomed by wildlife. Grow in full sun to partial shade and expect a height and spread of 4 x 3 metres in 20 years.
